Remediation Works Willis Island

H.C Building & Construction were engaged by the Bureau of Meteorology to document and construct Remediation Works (Phase 1 and 3) on Willis Island (Live Operational Site). Willis Island is Australia’s primary weather observation facility and is located 196 nautical miles from Cairns. It was two days sailing to deliver materials and workers to the island, where our team completed internal and external upgrade works to the existing building. The Project Manager for this one was the Australian Maritime Services (AMS).
