Our team works across Northern Australia, including the regional and remote communities of the Cape and Gulf. Our Project Managers have more than 45 years combined experience in the construction industry. We collaborate with the most recognised Engineers and Architects in the field, who understand the climate and weather constraints of Tropical North Queensland and the Torres Strait Islands. Together, we offer a fresh perspective and innovative ideas, providing the fundamentals for accomplishing and exceeding our clients’ expectations.

Heath Christison, Managing Director and founder of H.C Building & Construction, is driven by the philosophy ‘to provide innovation’. He and his team strive to see remote Cape York and Torres Strait Island communities empowered and independent and believe in promoting building approaches that support this vision.

Over the past 25 years, Heath has been working towards the development and enhancement of people’s natural skills and abilities. Our company approach is to encourage our staff to share their ideas and provide local, co-based solutions to deliver projects. In this way enabling them to build the bridges required to close the gap.
