APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITIES

At H.C Building & Construction we offer apprenticeships, traineeships, training and local employment opportunities throughout Cairns, Cape York and the Torres Strait Islands. Capacity and location vary, pending projects and client requirements.

Our strong leadership team is proud to support all our employees, through induction and regular and ongoing training and mentoring. In return we expect our team to share our vision and commit to our values. Which includes building stronger communities, with a commitment to quality and focus on client satisfaction. We’re proud to have provided 15 full-time apprenticeships since our inception in 2007 including 4 who have been signed off as qualified tradespersons. We currently have 11 registered apprentices at different stages in their apprenticeships, including 3 in our Cabinet Making division – FNQ Joinery, and 1 in our Steel Fabrication Workshop. It’s our pleasure to provide these career and training opportunities and are excited to have seen these individuals pursue their dreams and achieve success.
